University of Hartford - The University of Hartford, often called UHart or UHa, was founded in 1877, and is a private, independent, and nonsectarian coeducational university located in West Hartford, Connecticut. It was chartered through the joining of the Hartford Art School, Hillyer College, and the Hartt School of Music in 1957.
